The idea for the project was inspired by Lev Gelfer, my dear friend and fellow New Yorker.  "Memento Mori" is loosely translated from latin as "Remember about Death".  The concept doesn't promote death but motivates and inspires philosophy, literature and arts throughout the history.  I find it highly inspirational to be working on positive and creative project that benefits my community and gives me an opportunity to help others.
